One of the Flinders Island Tourism & Business Association ‘Customer Service Award’ winners… He is a familiar face for those travelling through our airport…
Meet Michael Mathieu who inspires us with his infectious love for life!
His positive, happy attitude rubs off on everyone he meets, including his co-workers at Flinders Island Airport, where he checks-in and out all visitors to the island in his role as Ground Handler with Sharp Airlines.
The Flinders Island Tourism & Business Association (FITBA) is engaged in an incentive based customer service award program that recognises consistent standards within our tourism and hospitality industry.
Ongoing, the awards have been handed out on a monthly basis since Christmas with a finalist being announced in the near future.
Lois Ireland organised for boxes to be placed in key tourist locations with a slip of paper to be filled, nominating a local for their high level of customer service provided to members of the public.
What an awesome incentive for locals and how great it is to be recognised for hard work and all in all everyone should be very proud to know that the level of customer service on Flinders Island is very high!
Congratulations to Michael on your FITBA Customer Service Award!
